Ten proprietors in Times Square have affiliated with the “Coalition for a Better Times Square” to champion the collaborative bid by SL Green, Caesars Entertainment, and Roc Nation to establish Caesars Palace at 1515 Broadway. This partnership was specifically formed to promote the project. Aby Rosen, co-founder and principal of RFR, declared, “As the country’s premier tourist destination, and a hub for entertainment, hospitality, retail, and transportation, Times Square is a perfect spot for the City’s gaming sector.” He continued, “We align with the Coalition for a Better Times Square in firmly supporting their endeavors to introduce a gaming establishment to this location, as we are confident the resulting public and private advantages will guarantee a more promising future for our great city.” The ten companies publicly endorsing the project encompass Jamestown, proprietor of One Times Square; Sherwood Equities, proprietor of Two Times Square; alongside the proprietors of Five Times Square, the Paramount Building, Soho Properties, the Moinian Group, Wharton Properties, RFR, the Ian Schrager Company, and Stillman Development. Charlie Rosenberg of the Paramount Building expressed, “We all aspire to witness the Times Square neighborhood flourish and retain its prominence as the core of the entertainment economy it represents today.”

Thats precisely why we’ve aligned ourselves with the ‘Alliance for an Enhanced Times Square’ and are offering our backing to the suggested amusement hub at 1515 Broadway.

Being adjacent to the proposed site, we carefully examined the implications this project would have on our vicinity. This isn’t merely a transient endeavor; they’re discussing eight levels within an existing 54-story structure. As our understanding grew, we recognized this as a unique chance to revitalize Times Square and significantly impact those residing and employed here,” remarked [a representative from] Rosenberg.

Our occupants, a varied collection of eateries, innovative new businesses, and theatrical icons, are all poised to gain from Caesars Entertainment establishing a presence in Times Square.”

Furthermore, SL Green and Caesars Entertainment have committed to directing a portion of gambling proceeds back into the district – envision enhanced safety measures, cleanliness, and transit options.

A representative for the Alliance for an Enhanced Times Square conveyed, “Our alliance is expanding daily, and two points are becoming increasingly evident: there’s extensive local endorsement for a novel entertainment venue in Times Square, and the current proposition for 1515 Broadway will yield tangible economic advantages for the area and its smaller enterprises.”

“We are dedicated to striving towards a more pristine and secure Times Square and contributing our share in guaranteeing a more promising outlook for this renowned New York City landmark.”
