William Zender Steps Down from Galaxy Gaming Board

William Zender, a longtime board member at Galaxy Gaming, is resigning. After serving the company for numerous years, his exit will be effective on July 1st.

Zender initially joined the board in 2015, marking the conclusion of a prosperous seven-year term. With his leaving, the board will shrink to four members.

His role will stay open for a few months. In the meantime, Mark Lipparelli, Bryan Waters, Cheryl Kondra, and Michael Gavin Isaacs will constitute the four remaining directors of Galaxy Gaming.

Nevertheless, Galaxy Gaming has already initiated the process of finding a substitute. As part of their partnership agreement with Tysons Brown, they have consented to establish a search group. This group will comprise two board members and an autonomous shareholder.

The corporation indicated that the group’s objective is to “locate qualified applicants and present a unified suggestion to the Board to occupy the vacancy resulting from Bill Zender’s resignation.”

Once a suitable replacement is located, they will be designated as a board member at Galaxy Gaming’s 2024 yearly shareholders’ meeting. Their term will then continue until the end of that gathering.

Mark Lipparelli, Board Chairman at Galaxy Gaming, conveyed his appreciation for Zender’s service, remarking: “Bill Zender is a legend in the casino table game sector.”

He added, “Throughout his more than seven years on our Board, he has furnished us and the Company with invaluable guidance.”

William has played a key role in our organization’s growth, particularly as we’ve expanded into different sectors. Our collaborative efforts have yielded significant achievements. We deeply appreciate his insightful guidance and proficiency, and we extend our best wishes for success in his upcoming pursuits.”
